Job Requirements
- Previous related experience preferred but not required
- ability to work full-time or part-time schedules including weekends and holidays
- must be able to perform essential functions of the position satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation
- physical ability to stand for long periods and carry tray loads
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in food service or hospitality is advantageous but not required
- strong interpersonal and communication skills

- team player with flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
- basic cash handling skills
- understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
- deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on appropriate combinations
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and special requests accommodation
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay them to a supervisor
- ensure dining areas are properly set up before and after service periods
- operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- work with staff of other departments during special events and functions
- perform other assigned duties.
