Job Requirements

  • Previous related experience preferred but not required
  • ability to work full-time or part-time schedules including weekends and holidays
  • must be able to perform essential functions of the position satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and carry tray loads
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • legal authorization to work in the United States
  • compliance with company policies including drug-free workplace
  • promptness and reliability in attendance
  • willingness to adhere to all health and safety regulations

  • basic numeracy for cash handling.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in food service or hospitality is advantageous but not required
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of safe food handling practices
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • customer service-oriented mindset
  • team player with flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
  • basic cash handling skills
  • understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
  • deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on appropriate combinations
  • communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and special requests accommodation
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
  • promptly address complaints or issues and relay them to a supervisor
  • ensure dining areas are properly set up before and after service periods
  • operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
  • work with staff of other departments during special events and functions
  • perform other assigned duties.
