Job Requirements
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

- previous catering or hospitality experience preferred
- capability to handle physical aspects of the job including lifting and standing for extended periods
- adherence to company policies including safety and sanitation
- legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders in an efficient manner following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
- advise guests on appropriate combinations of food and drinks
- accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodations
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and collaborate well with others
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment
- maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address complaints or issues and report to supervisor
- ensure dining room is set up properly before and after service
- operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- work with staff of other departments during special events
- perform other duties as assigned
