Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hospitality preferred
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to follow health and safety guidelines
  • willingness to work early morning shifts
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • customer service orientation

Job Qualifications

  • Prior hospitality experience preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to maintain poise under pressure
  • basic math and cash handling skills
  • ability to work flexible hours
  • understanding of dietary restrictions and allergens is a plus

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • takes food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • delivers food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follows up periodically to assist with additional guest needs
  • demonstrates thorough understanding of menu items and ingredients
  • advises guests on food and drink combinations
  • accommodates dietary requests and notes preferences including specialized diets and allergens
  • communicates with back-of-house staff to ensure accurate orders
  • collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
  • promotes a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
  • addresses guest complaints promptly and relays issues to supervisor
  • sets up and cleans dining area before and after service
  • operates various service equipment
  • collaborates with other department staff during special events
  • performs other duties as assigned
