Job Requirements
- Prior food service experience required
- experience in healthcare or senior living preferred
- ability to perform essential job functions satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation
- availability to work full-time or part-time shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- effective communication skills
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- reliable and punctual
- willingness to follow all safety and sanitation standards

- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- understanding of menu items and ingredients
- experience in healthcare or senior living preferred
- ability to manage cash handling

- flexibility to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items, ingredients, and accommodate reasonable requests including specialized diets and allergens
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and request accommodation
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
- address complaints or issues promptly and directly to supervisor
- ensure dining room setup and cleanliness before and after service periods
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with other departments for special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
