Job Requirements

  • Minimum three years of previous serving experience in a high-end restaurant setting
  • part-time availability including weekends
  • ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • willingness to work AM and PM shifts Monday through Friday and weekends
  • legal authorization to work in the United States

  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to maintain confidentiality of personal and medical information
  • proficiency in cash handling
  • basic knowledge of specialized diets and allergens
  • ability to operate restaurant equipment
  • teamwork and collaboration skills

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining food handling and sanitation standards
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on food and drink combinations
  • communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
  • address complaints or issues promptly and relay to supervisor
  • ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service
  • operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
  • collaborate with staff during special events and functions
  • perform other duties as assigned
