Job Requirements
- Prior server experience preferred
- availability to work full-time or part-time schedules including weekends
- ability to perform job duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation
- must be able to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards
- reliable and punctual
- basic math skills for cash handling

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with any additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
- advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
- accommodate reasonable guest requests and note preferences
- demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and special requests are accommodated
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain a positive attitude with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared by guests
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay pertinent information to supervisors
- ensure the dining room is properly set up before and after service periods
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea and soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- work with staff of other departments to perform duties during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
