Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of customer service and serving experience required
  • availability for full-time or part-time schedules including mornings and rotating weekends
  • legal eligibility to work in the United States

  • ability to handle cash transactions accurately

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year previous customer service and serving experience
  • knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • familiarity with menu items and ability to advise guests
  • ability to work full-time or part-time with flexible scheduling including mornings and rotating weekends
  • strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • capacity to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • ability to operate restaurant equipment
  • willingness to collaborate during special events

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
  • advise guests on food and drink combinations and accommodate special dietary requests
  • communicate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are correct and special requests are accommodated
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills and flexibility when interacting with guests and staff
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
  • maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical guest information
  • promptly address guest complaints or issues and relay information to supervisors
  • ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service periods
  • operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea and soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
  • collaborate with other departments during special events
  • perform other duties as assigned
