Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior food service or hospitality experience preferred but willing to train
  • ability to stand for long periods and carry trays
  • must be able to handle cash transactions accurately
  • availability for varied part-time schedules
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff
  • adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Duties

  • Greet guests promptly and warmly
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
  • deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining food handling and sanitation standards
  • demonstrate knowledge of menu items and ingredients including specialized diets and allergens
  • communicate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
  • collect tickets and handle cash transactions properly
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
  • address guest complaints and relay information to supervisors
  • ensure dining room setup and cleanliness before and after service
  • operate equipment including fire extinguishers and beverage machines
  • collaborate with other departments during special events
  • perform other duties as assigned
