Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follows up periodically to assist with additional guest needs
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and advise guests on food and drink combinations
- communicate with back-of-house staff to ensure correct orders and accommodate special requests
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
- maintain confidentiality and sensitivity regarding guest information
- promptly address complaints and relay information to supervisors
- set up and clean dining area before and after service
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines
- assist with job duties during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
