Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients advising guests on food and drink combinations and accommodating dietary requests
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and special requests
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay to supervisor
- ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service while meeting sanitation standards
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
