Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in executive dining environment
availability to work full-time schedule Monday through Friday
ability to provide excellent customer service
knowledge of food safety and sanitation
strong communication skills
ability to handle cash transactions
capacity to work flexible hours
willingness to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity regarding guest information

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in executive dining service
knowledge of a la carte menu service and bar experience preferred
strong communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
basic cash handling skills
knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
ability to operate dining room equipment
flexibility to work varied hours Monday through Friday

Job Duties

Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
follow up periodically to assist with any additional guest needs or requests
demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
advise guests on appropriate combinations of food and drinks
accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences
communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure orders are correct and special requests accommodated
exhibit exceptional communication skills and ability to get along well with others
remain flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff
collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
promote a clean, safe and neat environment for guests
maintain high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisor
ensure dining room setup prior to and after service period
operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells and coffee machines
work with staff of other departments during special events and functions
perform other duties as assigned
