Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverages orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food and beverages promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up periodically to assist guests with any additional needs or requests
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests correctly
  • communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain a positive attitude with guests and staff
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat environment
  • handle guest complaints promptly and inform supervisors
  • set up and clean dining area before and after service
  • operate equipment such as coffee machines, soda machines, and fire extinguishers
  • collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
  • perform other duties as assigned
