Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
- advise guests on food and drink combinations and accommodate special dietary requests
- communicate with back-of-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and special requests
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisors
- ensure the dining room is properly set up before and after service periods
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines
- collaborate with staff from other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
