Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Ability to stand for long periods and carry trays
Basic math skills for cash handling
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Must be reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred
Familiarity with Aloha POS Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction
Culinary experience or knowledge of food handling practices is beneficial
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling
Experience in upselling techniques to enhance guest experiences is desirable
Knowledge of sanitation practices within the food industry is essential

Job Duties

Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor
Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
Provide detailed information about menu items including daily specials and wine pairings
Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales
Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly
Process payments accurately using cash handling procedures and basic math skills
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area adhering to food safety guidelines
Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests as needed
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely food preparation
