Job Requirements
- Previous fine dining experience required
- Ability to work full-time with flexible schedules
- Basic knowledge of food service and hospitality procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff
- Capability to operate dining room equipment safely
- Must be able to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Ability to address guest complaints professionally
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- Previous fine dining experience required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work flexible and varied schedules
- Ability to perform cash handling procedures accurately
- Understanding of specialized diets and allergens is preferred
- Ability to maintain professionalism and patience in high-pressure situations
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- Take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- Deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- Demonstrate full knowledge of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on food and drink pairings
- Communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment and accommodate special requests
- Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe and neat dining environment throughout service
- Address guest complaints promptly and escalate to supervisor when necessary
- Set up and clear dining room prior to and after service period
- Operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, soda machines, and coffee machines
- Collaborate with other departmental staff during special events and functions
- Perform other duties as assigned
