Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

- capable of learning and adapting to new procedures
- basic math skills for cash handling
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation preferred but not required
- willingness to work varied hours including weekends
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
- advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations and accommodate reasonable requests
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and special accommodations
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to the supervisor
- ensure the dining area is properly set up before and after service
- operate dining equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with other departments during special events
- perform other duties as assigned
