Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to take food and beverage orders accurately
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
  • capability to follow food safety and sanitation protocols
  • physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • availability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • basic cash handling experience

Job Qualifications

  • experience in food and beverage service helpful but not required
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work well with others
  • strong attention to detail and commitment to sanitation standards
  • basic knowledge of menu items and ability to learn quickly

  • ability to handle cash and process payments accurately

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders in an efficient manner
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling standards
  • follow up with guests for additional needs or requests
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
  • advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations and accommodate preferences
  • communicate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and special requests
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills and remain flexible and patient
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe and neat environment
  • address complaints or issues promptly and relay information to supervisor
  • ensure dining room is properly set up and kept clean before and after service
  • operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines
  • collaborate with other departments during special events
  • perform other duties as assigned
