Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior waiter/waitress experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to follow safety protocols
  • Availability to work Thursday through Monday including weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to handle cash and operate point-of-sale systems
  • Flexibility to work scheduled shifts Thursday through Monday
  • Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • Takes food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • Delivers food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • Demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advises guests appropriately
  • Communicates with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodates special requests
  • Collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
  • Addresses guest complaints promptly and relays information to supervisors
  • Sets up and cleans dining area before and after service
  • Operates various food service equipment
  • Collaborates with other departments during special events
  • Performs other duties as assigned
