- flexibility to work varying hours including some weekends
- ability to maintain a positive and patient demeanor with guests and staff
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- takes food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
- delivers food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follows up periodically to assist with additional guest needs
- demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advises guests on food and drink combinations
- communicates with back-of-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and accommodate special requests
- collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
- promotes a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
- maintains confidentiality of personal or medical information
- promptly addresses complaints or issues and reports to supervisor
- ensures dining room setup and cleanliness before and after service periods
- operates equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines
- collaborates with other departments during special events
- performs other duties as assigned
