Job Requirements

  • previous customer service experience
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • availability to work part-time including every other weekend
  • ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
  • proficiency in cash handling
  • willingness to learn and adapt
  • ability to work as part of a team

  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • understanding of menu items, dietary restrictions, and allergen information
  • ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • flexibility to work varying hours including some weekends
  • ability to maintain a positive and patient demeanor with guests and staff

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • takes food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
  • delivers food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follows up periodically to assist with additional guest needs
  • demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advises guests on food and drink combinations
  • communicates with back-of-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and accommodate special requests
  • collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
  • promotes a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
  • maintains confidentiality of personal or medical information
  • promptly addresses complaints or issues and reports to supervisor
  • ensures dining room setup and cleanliness before and after service periods
  • operates equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines
  • collaborates with other departments during special events
  • performs other duties as assigned
