Job Requirements

Previous serving experience in high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment required
availability to work Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm
holiday availability required
ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
must maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
ability to operate dining equipment
must adhere to company policies and safety standards
reliable transportation to Walnut Creek location

Job Qualifications

Previous serving experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment
strong communication skills
ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
ability to handle cash transactions accurately
customer service oriented
ability to accommodate special dietary needs
flexibility to work scheduled shifts including holidays
high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
takes food and beverages orders efficiently
delivers food promptly and professionally
maintains safe food handling and sanitation standards
follows up periodically to assist with additional guest needs
demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
advises guests on food and drink combinations
accommodates special dietary requests
communicates with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy
collects tickets and follows cash-handling procedures
promotes a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
promptly addresses guest complaints and relays information to supervisors
ensures proper dining room setup and cleanup
operates various dining equipment
assists with special events and functions
performs other duties as assigned
