Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advising guests and accommodating requests
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain patience and flexibility
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay them to supervisors
- ensure dining room setup before and after service period
- operate various equipment including fire extinguishers and beverage machines
- assist staff during special events and functions
- perform other assigned duties
