Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with any additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
- accommodate reasonable requests and dietary preferences including knowledge of allergens
- communicate with back-of-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodation of special requests
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain positive interactions with guests and team members
- collect tickets and handle cash transactions properly
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment
- maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
- promptly address guest complaints or issues and escalate them to supervisors
- ensure dining area is properly set up before and after service and complies with sanitation standards
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
