Job Requirements
- Previous food service experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to train
- Ability to work part-time schedules including evenings and weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous food service experience preferred but not required
- Ability to learn food service procedures and protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of safe food handling practices
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- Take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
- Deliver food promptly and maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards
- Follow up with guests periodically to assist with additional needs or requests
- Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on food and drink combinations
- Communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodate special requests
- Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment
- Maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- Address complaints promptly and relay information to the supervisor
- Ensure dining room setup before and after service
- Operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- Collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
- Perform other duties as assigned
