Job Requirements
- No education required
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to handle money transactions accurately
- Ability to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends
- Ability to stand for majority of the shift
- Ability to carry up to 25 lbs periodically
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and stretch for cleaning and maintenance tasks

Job Duties
- Promptly greet and seat guests at clean, sanitary guest ready tables
- Help guests make the right menu choices
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Enter orders into POS system terminals or tablets
- Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely fashion
- Follow server banking procedures for processing payments
- Clear, clean, and reset tables and maintain the overall appearance of the restaurant
- Stock and rotate supplies in service areas
- Comply with all safety and sanitation standards
- Comply with IHOP uniform and appearance standards
- Complete the IHOP Academy Training program
