Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • possess a Social Security card
  • meet qualification and eligibility background requirements
  • satisfactorily complete E-Verify employment verification
  • be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • complete a one-year probationary period if required
  • pass all pre-employment checks
  • possibly undergo Tier 1 background investigation for federal access
  • meet local age requirements for serving alcohol in Texas

Job Qualifications

  • Meet state of Texas age requirements for servicing alcoholic beverages
  • possess basic math skills to compute patron bills and make change
  • communicate effectively in English
  • have relevant work experience performing waiter duties
  • demonstrate skills and knowledge related to the position
  • provide a resume no longer than two pages outlining relevant experience

Job Duties

  • Set tables according to Texas Roadhouse standards
  • receive guests and answer questions about food and drinks
  • make menu suggestions
  • take and place orders
  • receive food and beverages from kitchen and bar
  • maintain sales records
  • collect cash or payment by credit card
  • clear and clean tables and customer service areas
  • perform other duties as assigned
