Job Requirements

Minimum age of 18 years
Ability to stand for extended periods
Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
Ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system
Physical ability to perform duties including lifting and carrying trays
Strong customer service orientation
Compliance with Texas Roadhouse policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a customer service or restaurant role preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
Knowledge of food and wine pairings is a plus

Job Duties

Set tables according to Texas Roadhouse standards
Arrange place settings and table decorations
Receive guests and provide menu information
Make food and wine recommendations
Take and place orders accurately
Receive food and beverages from kitchen and bar
Maintain sales records
Collect cash or payment by credit card
Ensure cash receipts comply with accountability procedures
Clear and clean tables and customer service areas
Provide work direction to dining room staff as necessary
