Job Requirements

  • Work primarily indoors in areas with adequate light and ventilation

Job Qualifications

  • Must meet state or local age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages (18 years old)
  • No prior training or work experience required
  • Must be able to follow simple oral and written instructions
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend, walk and perform moderate lifting for long periods
  • Must be able to hear conversational voice
  • Resumes must be two pages or less and demonstrate relevant skills and experience
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Work under close supervision of the banquet supervisor or leader who provides specific instruction for task to be performed
  • Perform routine duties of servicing banquets either by providing for set menu banquets or taking individual orders
  • Set up and break down banquet settings
  • Replenish beverages during events
  • Stand, walk, stoop, and stretch for long periods handling food and beverage trays and containers
  • Follow simple oral and written instructions
  • Assist in maintaining banquet area cleanliness and order
