Job Requirements
- Direct deposit and social security card is required
- Meet qualification eligibility and background requirements for this position
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service
- Must meet the state or local age requirement (18 years old) for the serving of alcoholic beverages if alcoholic beverages are served
- Must be available nights, weekends and holidays
- Work primarily indoors with possibility of occasional outdoor work during seasonal functions
- Satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3
- Position, duty hours, location and or activity are subject to change based on mission requirements
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to follow simple oral and or written instructions
- Must meet the state or local age requirement for the serving of alcoholic beverages (18 years old)
- No prior training or work experience required
- Must be physically able to stand, stoop, bend, walk and do moderate lifting for long periods of time
- Must be able to hear the conversational voice
Job Duties
- Work under close supervision of the banquet supervisor or leader who provides specific instruction for task to be performed
- Perform routine duties of servicing banquets either by providing for set menu banquets or taking individual orders
- Set up banquet settings and break down after events
- Replenish beverages during banquets
- Stand, walk, stoop, and stretch for long periods of time while handling food and beverage trays and containers
- Follow military and organizational standards for banquet service
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members during events
