Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Must meet state or local age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages (18 years old)
- No prior training or work experience required
- Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions
- Physically able to stand, stoop, bend, walk and do moderate lifting for long periods
- Able to hear conversational voice
- Resumes must be two pages or less and clearly demonstrate relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities
Job Duties
- Work under close supervision of the banquet supervisor or leader who provides specific instruction for task to be performed
- Perform waiter duties with fewer procedural requirements than in restaurant, café or bar operations
- Service banquets by providing set menu options or taking individual orders
- Set up and break down banquet settings and replenish beverages
- Stand, walk, stoop and stretch for long periods while handling food and beverage trays and containers usually weighing less than 40 pounds
- Work nights, weekends and holidays as scheduled
- Adhere to state and local laws regarding serving alcoholic beverages if applicable
