Job Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is desired
  • Food service certification is required
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Physical stamina to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and long periods of standing or walking
  • Adherence to uniform policies and wearing of appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Ability to understand and comply with kitchen safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • Food service certification
  • Satisfactory educational background or training to understand, write, and comply with verbal and written guidelines
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Follow a predetermined menu to prepare top-notch food and pastries
  • Put together a report for the day ensuring the accuracy of transactions and meal planning
  • Grasp the elements that make up a meal to confirm their inclusion
  • Store food correctly to prevent contamination and spoilage
  • Deliver food to patrons as per scheduled meal times and establishment regulations
  • Apply and upkeep culinary utensils, with a focus on blades
  • Make sure food items and beverages are prepared promptly
