Job Duties
- Follow a predetermined menu to prepare food and pastries
- put together daily reports ensuring accuracy of transactions and meal planning
- grasp meal components to confirm inclusion
- store food correctly to prevent contamination and spoilage
- deliver food to patrons as per scheduled meal times and regulations
- apply and maintain culinary utensils focusing on blades
- prepare food items and beverages promptly
- enhance food aesthetics through garnishing
- assist with sanitation of refrigeration, freezers, cooking and serving devices
- uphold all food safety requirements including hygiene, handling, and storage protocols
- comply with uniform regulations
- coordinate daily with the manager for menu planning
- monitor food temperatures for storage and serving
- maintain cleanliness and organization of work and storage areas
- keep work areas clean and disinfected including steam tables and machinery
- perform general cleaning duties like sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
- collect garbage and keep kitchen floors clean
- perform additional duties as required including aiding other kitchen departments
