Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food service industry preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- excellent communication skills
- basic math proficiency
- ability to stand for extended periods
- strong interpersonal skills
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- previous experience in food service or restaurant roles preferred particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings
- familiarity with aloha pos micros pos opentable or similar systems is a plus
- strong time management skills for handling multiple tables efficiently
- excellent customer service skills with focus on guest relations
- culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is advantageous
- ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- basic math skills for bill processing and cash handling
- understanding of sanitation practices and food safety regulations
Job Duties
- greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- take accurate food and beverage orders using pos systems
- provide detailed menu information including daily specials and make recommendations
- ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards
- monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
- assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness
- collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and accurate order preparation
- handle cash transactions accurately including basic math for bills
- maintain knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
