Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles preferred particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings
  • Familiarity with Aloha POS Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems advantageous
  • Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and processing payments accurately
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in sanitation

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor
  • Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings
  • Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring proper food handling and sanitation practices
  • Handle cash transactions accurately including basic math calculations for guest checks
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area including bussing tables and ensuring proper sanitation standards are met
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
  • Assist with hosting duties as needed including managing reservations through OpenTable
