Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years experience as a front waiter with fine dining and banquet service
- Minimum of one year experience selling and serving wine and other beverage products
- Passion for hospitality and customer service
- Professional appearance and good hygiene
- Respect for co-workers and guests
- Ability to work seven days a week
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of two years experience as a front waiter with fine dining and banquet service in 3 Star to 4 Star hotel/resort, free-standing restaurant with at least 180 seats, or similar shipboard experience
- Minimum of one year experience selling and serving wine and other beverages
- Passionate about hospitality and customer service driven
- Professional appearance and good hygiene
- Respect for co-workers and guests
- Ability to work seven days a week
Job Duties
- Assist with achieving departmental guest satisfaction targets and food and beverage revenues by following established service strategies and optimizing up-sell opportunities
- Perform other related duties as assigned or as directed
- Be familiar with the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and SEMS and carry out appropriate policies and procedures
- Ensure assigned station is properly cleaned and set-up at the end of meal periods and all side-work is complete
- Comply with sequence of service for food and beverage and instruct Assistant Waiters to ensure timely service
- Resolve any service and product deficiencies to ensure guest satisfaction
- Perform other jobs as assigned, including manning buffet action stations, delivering amenities on embarkation day, assisting with room service deliveries, private parties, and service training
