Job Requirements

Minimum of two years experience as a front waiter with fine dining and banquet service
Minimum of one year experience selling and serving wine and other beverage products
Passion for hospitality and customer service
Professional appearance and good hygiene
Respect for co-workers and guests
Ability to work seven days a week

Job Qualifications

Minimum of two years experience as a front waiter with fine dining and banquet service in 3 Star to 4 Star hotel/resort, free-standing restaurant with at least 180 seats, or similar shipboard experience
Minimum of one year experience selling and serving wine and other beverages
Passionate about hospitality and customer service driven
Professional appearance and good hygiene
Respect for co-workers and guests
Ability to work seven days a week

Job Duties

Assist with achieving departmental guest satisfaction targets and food and beverage revenues by following established service strategies and optimizing up-sell opportunities
Perform other related duties as assigned or as directed
Be familiar with the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and SEMS and carry out appropriate policies and procedures
Ensure assigned station is properly cleaned and set-up at the end of meal periods and all side-work is complete
Comply with sequence of service for food and beverage and instruct Assistant Waiters to ensure timely service
Resolve any service and product deficiencies to ensure guest satisfaction
Perform other jobs as assigned, including manning buffet action stations, delivering amenities on embarkation day, assisting with room service deliveries, private parties, and service training
