Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years experience as a front waiter in fine dining or banquet service
- Minimum of two years experience in selling and serving wine and other beverages
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and good hygiene
- Ability to work seven days a week
- Strong respect for co-workers and guests
- Willingness to perform varied job duties related to restaurant service and buffet stations
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of two years experience as a front waiter with fine dining and banquet service experience in 3 Star to 4 Star land-based hotel/resort, free-standing restaurant with at least 180 seats, or previous shipboard experience in a similar position
- Minimum of two years experience selling and serving wine and other beverage products
- Passionate about hospitality and customer service driven
- Professional appearance and good hygiene
- Respect for all co-workers and guests
- Pride in creating positive energy, excitement and fun
- Able to work seven days a week
Job Duties
- Assist with achieving departmental guest satisfaction targets and food and beverage revenues by following established service strategies and optimizing up-sell opportunities
- Perform other related duties as assigned or as directed
- Familiarize with the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and the SEMS and carry out the policies and procedures appropriate for the position
- Ensure assigned station is properly setup with required amounts of china, glassware, silverware and mis-en-place prior to service
- Comply with sequence of service for food and beverage and follow lead/instructions of Waiters for timely guest service
- Resolve any service and/or product deficiencies to ensure guest satisfaction
- Clean and set-up assigned station at the end of meal period and complete assigned side work
- Perform other jobs including manning non-cooking buffet action stations such as carving or dessert stations
