Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous restaurant or food service experience
- Familiarity with POS and reservation systems
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work full-time hours, including evenings and weekends
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is a plus
- Experience in guest services, serving, or host/hostess roles will be advantageous
- Knowledge of food industry standards including food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures is essential
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to perform basic math for cashiering and cash handling tasks accurately
- Prior experience with OpenTable or similar reservation management tools is desirable
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently using OpenTable or similar reservation systems
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely and correct delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks with professionalism, maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive guest relations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas in compliance with sanitation standards and food safety regulations
