Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous restaurant or food service experience
  • Familiarity with POS and reservation systems
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work full-time hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is a plus
  • Experience in guest services, serving, or host/hostess roles will be advantageous
  • Knowledge of food industry standards including food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures is essential
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
  • Ability to perform basic math for cashiering and cash handling tasks accurately
  • Prior experience with OpenTable or similar reservation management tools is desirable

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently using OpenTable or similar reservation systems
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely and correct delivery
  • Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Serve food and drinks with professionalism, maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
  • Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive guest relations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas in compliance with sanitation standards and food safety regulations
