Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent desired
- able to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand or walk for long periods
- follow uniform guidelines and wear PPE when necessary
- reliable and punctual
- able to work flexible hours
- good physical stamina
Job Qualifications
- Food service certification
- satisfactory educational background or training to understand, write, and comply with verbal and written guidelines
- ability to work under pressure
- good communication skills
- knowledge of food safety standards
- experience in food preparation and serving preferred
Job Duties
- Follow a predetermined menu to prepare top-notch food and pastries
- put together a daily report ensuring accuracy of transactions and meal planning
- grasp meal components to confirm inclusion
- store food properly to prevent contamination and spoilage
- deliver food to patrons as per scheduled meal times and regulations
- apply and maintain culinary utensils focusing on blades
- ensure food items and beverages are prepared promptly
- enhance food aesthetics through garnishing
- assist with sanitation of refrigeration units, freezers, cooking and serving devices
- uphold all food safety standards including hygiene, handling, and storage
- comply with uniform policies
- coordinate daily with manager for menu planning
- monitor food temperatures for safe storage and service
- maintain cleanliness and organization in work and storage areas
- perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
- collect garbage and maintain clean kitchen floors
- perform additional duties as required in kitchen departments
