Job Requirements

- food service certification required
- ability to work under pressure
- physical ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and standing for long periods
- adherence to uniform and PPE guidelines

- willingness to comply with food safety and sanitation regulations

Job Duties
- Follow predetermined menu to prepare top-notch food and pastries
- put together daily report ensuring accuracy of transactions and meal planning
- grasp meal components to confirm their inclusion
- store food correctly to prevent contamination and spoilage
- deliver food to patrons as per scheduled meal times and establishment regulations
- apply and upkeep culinary utensils with focus on blades
- prepare food items and beverages promptly
- enhance meal visual appeal through garnishing
- provide sanitation assistance for refrigeration units and cooking devices
- uphold food safety standards including hygiene, handling and storage
- comply with uniform regulations
- coordinate daily menu planning with manager
- ensure food is stored and served at correct temperatures
- maintain cleanliness and organization in work and storage areas
- keep work areas clean and disinfected including steam tables and countertops
- perform general cleaning like sweeping, mopping and dishwashing
- ensure garbage collection and keep kitchen floors clean
- fulfill additional duties as required possibly aiding other kitchen departments
