Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of experience in food service or hospitality
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math proficiency for handling payments
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Familiarity with POS systems preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Physical stamina to carry trays and stand for long shifts
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms like food industry software
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and billing accuracy
- Experience with serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, or guest relations is highly desirable
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights
- Previous experience in nightlife or nightclub environments is a plus
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during food handling and serving
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting dining areas as needed
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing customer inquiries and resolving concerns promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain smooth operations during service hours
