Job Duties
- Follow a predetermined menu to prepare top-notch food and pastries
- put together a daily report ensuring accuracy of transactions and meal planning
- understand meal components to verify inclusion
- store food correctly to prevent contamination and spoilage
- deliver food to patrons as per scheduled times and regulations
- apply and maintain culinary utensils focusing on blades
- prepare food items and beverages promptly
- enhance meals' visual appeal through garnishing
- assist with sanitation of refrigeration units, freezers, and kitchen equipment
- uphold food safety requirements including hygiene, handling procedures, and storage protocols
- comply with uniform policies at all times
- coordinate daily with manager on menu planning
- monitor food temperature during storage and service
- maintain cleanliness and organization of work and storage areas
- keep work areas disinfected including steam tables, countertops, and machinery
- conduct general cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
- ensure garbage collection and maintain hygienic kitchen floors
- perform additional tasks including assisting other kitchen departments as needed
