Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent desired
  • prior experience in food service preferred
  • ability to follow a predetermined menu
  • capability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for long periods
  • adherence to uniform and PPE guidelines
  • willingness to assist in various kitchen departments
  • ability to monitor and maintain food temperatures
  • capability to prepare food and beverages efficiently

Job Duties

  • Follow a predetermined menu to prepare food and pastries
  • assemble daily reports ensuring the accuracy of transactions and meal planning
  • verify all meal components are included
  • store food correctly to prevent contamination and spoilage
  • serve food to patrons according to scheduled meal times and regulations
  • maintain culinary utensils focusing on blades
  • prepare food items and beverages promptly
  • garnish dishes to enhance visual appeal
  • assist with cleaning refrigeration units, freezers, cooking and serving equipment
  • uphold food safety standards including hygiene, handling, and storage
  • comply with uniform policies
  • coordinate daily menu planning with the manager
  • monitor food storage and serving temperatures
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of work and storage areas
  • clean and disinfect steam tables, countertops, and machines
  • perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
  • collect garbage and maintain clean kitchen floors
  • perform additional duties as assigned including supporting other kitchen departments
