  • put together a report for the day ensuring the accuracy of transactions and meal planning
  • grasp the elements that make up a meal to confirm their inclusion
  • store food correctly to prevent contamination and spoilage
  • deliver food to patrons as per scheduled meal times and establishment regulations
  • apply and upkeep culinary utensils, with a focus on blades
  • ensure food items and beverages are prepared promptly
  • elevate the visual appeal of meals through garnishing
  • provide help with sanitation of refrigeration units, freezers, and cooking and serving devices
  • uphold all requirements related to food safety, including hygiene, handling procedures, and storage protocols
  • comply with established uniform regulations
  • interact daily with the manager for menu coordination
  • monitor food storage and serving temperatures
  • maintain cleanliness and organization in work and storage areas
  • keep work areas clean and disinfected, including steam tables, countertops, and machinery
  • perform general cleaning activities like sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
  • collect garbage and keep kitchen floors clean
  • fulfill other duties as required, potentially aiding other kitchen departments
