Job Requirements
- Food service certification
- ability to understand and comply with written and verbal instructions
- capability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, standing, and walking for long periods
- adhere to uniform and personal protective equipment guidelines
- maintain adherence to food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards
- willingness to assist in various kitchen tasks and departments
- availability to work according to scheduled meal times
Job Qualifications
- Food service certification
- satisfactory educational background or training to understand, write, and comply with verbal and written guidelines

- high school diploma or equivalent desired
Job Duties
- Follow a predetermined menu to prepare top-notch food and pastries
- put together a daily report ensuring accuracy of transactions and meal planning
- ensure inclusion of meal components
- store food correctly to prevent contamination and spoilage
- deliver food to patrons according to scheduled meal times and establishment regulations
- maintain culinary utensils with emphasis on blades
- prepare food items and beverages promptly
- enhance visual appeal of meals through garnishing
- assist in sanitation of refrigeration units, freezers, cooking and serving devices
- uphold food safety standards related to hygiene, handling, and storage
- comply with uniform regulations
- coordinate daily menu understanding and planning with the manager
- monitor food temperature during storage and serving
- maintain cleanliness and organization in work and storage areas
- keep work areas disinfected, including steam tables, countertops, and machinery
- perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
- ensure garbage collection and kitchen floor cleanliness
- perform additional duties as required including aiding in other kitchen departments
