Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent desired
- Food service certification required
- Ability to work under pressure
- Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for long periods
- Compliance with uniform guidelines and use of personal protective equipment when necessary

Job Duties
- Follow a predetermined menu to prepare food and pastries
- Put together daily reports ensuring accuracy of transactions and meal planning
- Ensure inclusion of all meal components
- Store food correctly to prevent contamination and spoilage
- Serve food to patrons as per scheduled meal times and establishment regulations
- Apply and maintain culinary utensils with focus on blades
- Prepare food items and beverages promptly
- Enhance visual appeal of meals through garnishing
- Assist with sanitation of refrigeration units, freezers, and cooking and serving devices
- Uphold all food safety requirements including hygiene, handling, and storage
- Comply with uniform policy at all times
- Coordinate daily menu planning with the manager
- Monitor food temperatures for proper storage and service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work and storage areas
- Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
- Collect garbage and keep kitchen floors clean
- Fulfill other duties as needed, including assisting in various kitchen departments
