Job Duties
- follow a predetermined menu to prepare top-notch food and pastries
- put together a daily report ensuring accuracy of transactions and meal planning
- understand meal components to confirm inclusion
- properly store food to prevent contamination and spoilage
- deliver food to patrons as per schedule and regulations
- maintain and apply culinary utensils, focusing on blades
- ensure food items and beverages are prepared promptly
- enhance food aesthetics through garnishing
- assist in sanitation of refrigeration units, freezers, and kitchen equipment
- uphold food safety standards including hygiene, handling, and storage
- comply with uniform policy at all times
- coordinate daily menu with manager
- monitor food temperatures during storage and serving
- maintain cleanliness and organization of work and storage areas
- perform general cleaning including sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
- collect garbage and keep kitchen floors clean
- perform additional tasks as required, including aiding other kitchen departments
