Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Follow a predetermined menu to prepare top-notch food and pastries
  • put together a daily report ensuring the accuracy of transactions and meal planning
  • confirm inclusion of all meal components
  • store food correctly to prevent contamination and spoilage
  • deliver food to patrons as per scheduled meal times and establishment regulations
  • apply and maintain culinary utensils, focusing on blades
  • prepare food items and beverages promptly
  • enhance meals' visual appeal through garnishing
  • assist with sanitation of refrigeration units, freezers, and cooking and serving devices
  • uphold food safety standards including hygiene, handling, and storage
  • comply with uniform policies
  • coordinate menu daily with manager
  • monitor and maintain correct food temperatures
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of work and storage areas
  • clean and disinfect work areas, steam tables, countertops, and machinery
  • perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dishwashing
  • ensure garbage collection and kitchen floor cleanliness
  • perform additional duties as required, supporting different kitchen departments
