Job Duties

  • Supporting the manager, the Waiter participates in food and meal preparation, monitors cash receipts, and accurately maintains meal records
  • They are responsible for assisting with daily report generation and upholding the required standards for food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety
  • Food Preparation: Follow a predetermined menu to prepare top-notch food and pastries
  • Daily Report: Put together a report for the day ensuring the accuracy of transactions and meal planning
  • Meal Components: Grasp the elements that make up a meal to confirm their inclusion
  • Food Storage: It is crucial to store food correctly to prevent contamination and spoilage
  • Serving Meals: Deliver food to patrons as per scheduled meal times and establishment regulations
  • Culinary Utensils: Application and upkeep of culinary utensils, with a focus on blades
  • Efficient Food Prep: Make sure food items and beverages are prepared promptly
  • Enhance Food Aesthetics: Elevate the visual appeal of your meals and enhance guest enjoyment through the art of garnishing
  • Kitchen Assistance: Provide help with the sanitation of refrigeration units, freezers, and cooking and serving devices
  • Food Safety Standards: Uphold all requirements related to food safety, encompassing hygiene, handling procedures, and storage protocols
  • Uniform Policy: Comply with the established uniform regulations at all times
  • Menu Coordination: Daily interaction with the manager is essential for understanding and properly planning the day’s menu
  • Food Temperature Monitoring: Ensure foods are stored and served at the correct temperatures
  • Work Area Cleanliness: Uphold cleanliness and organization in both your work and storage areas
  • Sanitation: Maintain hygiene by keeping work areas clean and disinfected, including steam tables, countertops, and machinery
  • General Cleaning: Implement cleanliness procedures by carrying out activities like sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
  • Garbage Collection: Ensure that garbage is collected and kitchen floors are kept clean for hygienic purposes
  • Additional Tasks: Fulfill other duties as required, which may involve aiding in different kitchen departments
