- Food service certification required
- Ability to work under pressure
- Satisfactory educational background or training
- Physical stamina to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for long periods
- Compliance with uniform policies and use of personal protective equipment when necessary

Job Duties
- Follow a predetermined menu to prepare top-notch food and pastries
- Put together a report for the day ensuring the accuracy of transactions and meal planning
- Grasp the elements that make up a meal to confirm their inclusion
- Store food correctly to prevent contamination and spoilage
- Deliver food to patrons as per scheduled meal times and establishment regulations
- Apply and upkeep culinary utensils, with a focus on blades
- Make sure food items and beverages are prepared promptly
- Elevate the visual appeal of meals through garnishing
- Provide help with sanitation of refrigeration units, freezers, and cooking devices
- Uphold all requirements related to food safety including hygiene, handling, and storage protocols
- Comply with uniform regulations
- Coordinate daily menu plans with the manager
- Ensure food is stored and served at the correct temperatures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work and storage areas
- Maintain hygiene by cleaning and disinfecting work areas and machinery
- Implement cleanliness procedures such as sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
- Ensure garbage collection and cleanliness of kitchen floors
- Fulfill other duties as required including aiding other kitchen departments
