Job Requirements

  • Previous wait staff or customer service experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for serving older adults and enhancing their dining experience
  • Dependability and professionalism
  • Ability to read and write at a 6th grade level
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to maintain personal hygiene and appearance standards

Job Duties

  • Provide friendly, timely, and professional table service to residents during mealtimes
  • Communicate daily specials and menu offerings clearly and enthusiastically
  • Ensure that tables are clean, properly set, and residents feel valued and attended to
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure meals are served correctly and promptly
  • Maintain a warm and respectful environment in the dining room
  • Maintains high standards for personal appearance and hygiene
  • Follows all food service department policies and safety rules
