Job Requirements

  • Ability to read and write at a 6th grade level
  • flexibility to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Previous wait staff or customer service experience preferred especially in hospitality or healthcare settings
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • passion for serving older adults and enhancing their dining experience

Job Duties

  • Provide friendly, timely, and professional table service to residents during mealtimes
  • communicate daily specials and menu offerings clearly and enthusiastically
  • ensure that tables are clean, properly set, and residents feel valued and attended to
  • collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure meals are served correctly and promptly
  • maintain a warm and respectful environment in the dining room
  • maintain high standards for personal appearance and hygiene
  • follow all food service department policies and safety rules
